PICNIC DAY PANIC

Our first completely self-organized event. Davis has a holiday where the University students take advantage of every second of the day, enjoying the warm spring weather and the sign that summer is around the corner.
Picnic Day Panic instantly gained traction, with our Instagram account reaching over 200 followers in one day alongside reel content seen by over 2,000 people. We completely sold out in less than a week, which ended up causing us to switch venues so that we could welcome even more people.
Our line up included SirBreZ, Hella Freqy, DJ Homsy, Gavin, DJ Stive and DJ Mellax.
Throughout the night, pizza was provided, rave sharks made an appearance, and guests enjoyed the constant excitement of two stages (one outdoor and one indoor). The event ended up being a complete success despite minor set-backs. Nevertheless, everything is a learning opportunity for us.

What happens when you bring together an afro-house DJ, a reggaetón DJ, and a professional saxophone musician? You get dozens of people asking when we’re gonna do it again.
After meeting in a producers club on campus, Caden, Noah and Hazam gathered to rehearse what would go down as being one of the best performances that Sophia’s Thai has ever seen. It’s difficult to put into words the atmosphere, so we hope these videos will do the trick.
